ABOUT ME

I am Pullagurla Divya, and I hold a Master’s degree in Science in Health Psychology from the University of Hyderabad. During my postgraduate course, I had the opportunity to participate in various internships and training programmes that helped me develop an understanding of psychological assessment, research, and clinical practice. I received training at NIMH, Secunderabad, where I was introduced to various psychological and developmental assessment tools, including VSMS and BKT, along with an understanding of diagnostic frameworks such as the DSM. I also participated in a research programme at IIT Hyderabad and was selected for a paper presentation at IIT Kharagpur. My professional interests gradually developed towards child development, developmental assessment, behavioural intervention, and sensory processing. In 2023, I attended a Sensory Integration workshop, which further enhanced my understanding of sensory and developmental needs in children. In 2026, my work was selected for poster presentation at the Autism Odyssey International Conference, where I had the opportunity to present my work in the area of autism and child development. After completing my postgraduate studies, I worked at Dr. Marin’s Child Development Centre from 2022 to 2024, where I gained hands-on experience working with children with developmental, behavioural, and learning concerns. Since then, I have started my independent practice in Nallagandla, Hyderabad, under the name Inside Minds Therapeutics, where I work with children and families in the areas of developmental assessment, behavioural intervention, and child development. I am keen to continue learning, expanding my professional knowledge, and contributing meaningfully to the field of psychology and child development.
