About Mr.Farah Haris

He is an exceptionally experienced and capable consulting psychologist with more than three years of experience working in the field of mental health. He has competed in the areas of assessment and diagnosis of mental disorders, counselling and psychotherapy, with more than three thousand hours of clinical experience. Mental Health of Children, Neuro-cognition, Solution Focused Approaches, Family and Social Relations, Research Methods and Psychological Test Construction are some of his areas of interests. He has published six of his works in peer- reviewed indexed journals. Also he could present research papers in national and international (including presentation at San Antonio, USA) platforms. He has constructed and validated two psychological tests. He also supervised Six Master’s thesis and Eighteen Bachelor’s dissertations in the field of Mental health of college students, family and social relations and cognitions. He organized national and international academic programs. He could co-design the project of ‘Early Intervention of Child Abuse’ in Feroke Municipality (Funded by Rashtriya Uchchatar Siksha Abhiyan - RUSA, Govt. of India). He was one of the members of course designing committee of the ‘Certificate Course in Forensic Psychology’ (Funded by Rashtriya Uchchatar Siksha Abhiyan - RUSA, Govt. of India) at the Department of Psychology, Farook College (Aided by Govt. of Kerala), Kozhikode, India.
